Over the past five years, the Mad River Band has earned a reputation for its unique mix of eclectic musical influences. Led by multi-talented singer-songwriter-guitarist-clarinetist Irene Schroeder, the band has performed for enthusiastic audiences at festivals, colleges, and clubs throughout the Midwest. With a repertoire of songs featuring original compositions sprinkeled liberally with a diverse selection of crowd-pleasing standards (including songs ranging from Ella Fitzgerald to Lucinda Williams to Neil Young to Van Morrison), the Mad River Band offers a little something for everyone.
